Promicrotech Limited Liability Corporation was founded in April 2007 by Andy Campbell in Powell, OH. The business was moved to Andy's home state of Florida in August of 2008. Andy’s background is diverse and he has over a decade of corporate experience working in the information technology sector. His first advanced technology position was with the United States Army. He worked as a crew chief and mechanic on UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and was responsible for all aspects of the aircraft ranging from advanced avionics, communications, and electronic systems, to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
He first entered the civilian technology sector working in the semiconductor industry manufacturing memory chips in a class I clean room environment using 0.18 micron technology and advanced state-of-the-art equipment and process controls. After several years in the industry he decided to migrate into the information technology systems engineering and support. He then returned to college to further his education in information technology. |
Before starting Promicrotech, he spent the previous three years working as a systems administrator and IT department manager for a local organization located in Powell. Prior to this position, he spent many more years as a freelance IT contractor working in various positions with organizations ranging from medical services and manufacturing, to Petroleum and software development.
Andy's brother Scott partnered with Promicrotech soon after the companies inception adding business phone systems and sales, installation, and service to our services offered to the Columbus area. Scott has almost two decades of business phone systems experience, certifications and education. He is an experienced licensed low voltage contractor in thier home state of florida and can program and is certified on many of the major brand phone switchs available today. |
